Verman Bedessee is an accomplished businessman who is respected and known for being a driven leader for his company. His educational background focuses on finance, business management, business trademark laws, and international business trade. In his early 20s, he started working with his family business of importing and distributing Caribbean foods. He was deeply inspired and nurtured by his late father, Lionel M. Bedessee, who founded the company L.M. Bedessee in the 1950s in Guyana and transformed Bedessee Imports Inc., to be a competitive food import business serving the Caribbean communities across the U.S.A./Canada with unique goods and tailored services. During his 45 years at Bedessee Imports Inc. Verman Bedessee played an integral role in the success of the company, having it emerge as one of the top Caribbean distributors in the USA. He innovated the business during his time with record sales, profits, and sustainable growth. Knowing the Caribbean communities in the U.S.A and Canada lack ethnic foods and spices, his goal was to supply top-quality products at prices that are affordable to the communities. He became the most cost-efficient supplier to the consumer population, only selling premium-quality products.
